Railway photography

Welcome to my railway photography gallery at Pork Pie Photography. Based in Crewe, a historic heart of Britain's railway heritage, I capture the spirit of the tracks through an artistic lens. From evocative steam journeys and heavy freight to subtle station textures and infrared railway vistas, explore the rhythm and romance of life on the rails.

The golden age of steam

Explore a curated gallery celebrating the majesty and sheer power of historic steam locomotives. From dramatic plumes of smoke across the Cheshire countryside to fine engineering details captured up close, these images honour Britain's living railway heritage.

  Model Railways

Exploring the craftsmanship and intricate details of model railways. Blending macro photography techniques with careful lighting reveals the texture, atmosphere, and miniature realism of bespoke layouts and scale locomotives.
